Top Score Games Junior Pool Program teaches youths about the ethics and fundamentals of pool. Usually funning a 25-30 week program we meet for 1 1/2 hrs a week starting youths of in our beginners class. Beginners are taught stance, grip, stroke, and basic rules of pool. After completion of our beginners program students are moved into our players class. Our players class teaches different ways of controlling the cue ball by using english and tries to help players develop a winning game strategy. We also try to work with parents stressing no pass school, no play pool rules. Ages are from 9-20. We use V.N.E.A rules.
Also, we try to get students to compete in V.N.E.A.'s International Jr's Pool Tournament. This year, the tournament will be in Lincoln, but we have gone as far as Rodchester, Min...We also plan to have a few tournaments locally.
Cost is $25 to join, which pays for V.N.E.A. membership, and Top Score's membership. $5 a night is paid to instuctor. Classes are a maximum of 12 students.
